Why Dental Bridges Cost Less in Mexico

Without Cutting Corners

Traveling to Mexico for dental work can lead to major savings, especially at our Los Algodones dental office. Here’s why:

  • Lower operating costs and a favorable exchange rate allow us to offer the same high-quality materials used in the U.S. for significantly less.
  • No third-party lab fees. Our on-site CAD/CAM milling lets us design and fabricate your custom bridge in-house in most cases.
  • Focused expertise. Our doctors have refined our workflow to minimize chair time and maximize efficiency, especially for medical tourists.

You’ll receive the same — or better — quality than many U.S. practices, with full transparency about what’s included and what to expect.

Determining Your Cost

The cost of your dental bridge will depend on several factors, including:

  • How many dental crowns are needed to complete the bridge
  • Whether any preparatory treatment (like extractions or root canal therapy) is required
  • Whether you choose a traditional or implant-supported bridge

We’ll provide a detailed estimate during your free consultation at our Los Algodones office, but our patients from the United States and Canada find our prices significantly more affordable than clinics back home.

A 2-Day Treatment Timeline for a Traditional Dental Bridge

If you're looking for extra stability provided by dental implant surgery, additional steps will be added to your treatment timeline. Dental implant treatment takes several months and requires multiple visits to our office. However, if you choose a traditional bridge, the entirety of your treatment can be completed in two appointments.

Thanks to our on-site CAD/CAM milling machine, your permanent dental bridge can be ready in two days.

Consultation

Join us in our Los Algodones office for a free consultation with one of our dentists or contact our team to send pictures and X-rays for a virtual consultation. We'll determine if a dental bridge is right for your needs and start planning your treatment.

Preparation

On the day of your traditional bridge treatment, your dentist will prepare the abutment teeth on both sides of the gap to support your dental bridge.

Impressions

We will then take digital impressions of your dental arch to craft a bridge that blends in seamlessly with your smile. Digital impressions are more comfortable than traditional, putty impressions and yield accurate results.

Creation

We will make your zirconia dental bridge with our on-site CAD/CAM milling machine. By offering CAD/CAM milled restorations, we can complete your treatment in just two appointments. Between your first and second appointment, you will be given a temporary bridge to make eating and speaking comfortable.

Placement

When your bridge is ready for placement, typically on the following day, we'll cement it to your abutment teeth and make any adjustments to ensure you leave our office in optimal comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions About Dental Bridges in Los Algodones, MX

Do you offer transportation for dental tourists?

Yes! We make your trip as hassle-free as possible with a private shuttle service for patients traveling from the United States-Mexico border, and in select cases, airport pick-up/drop-off from Yuma International Airport.

What are the parts of a dental bridge?

A dental bridge includes one or more pontics, which are the artificial teeth that fill the gap left by tooth loss. These are anchored by abutment teeth — either natural teeth fitted with crowns or dental implants placed on each side of the gap. Together, they restore both the function and appearance of your smile.

How long does a dental bridge last?

With proper care, a dental bridge can last 10-15 years or more. Daily brushing and flossing, plus regular dental checkups, can extend its lifespan. Avoiding hard or sticky foods also helps preserve your restoration.

Will my bridge look and feel like real teeth?

Yes, especially with the use of zirconia ceramic and digital impressions helping us create bridges that blend seamlessly with your smile. Most patients report that their bridges look natural and feel comfortable after just a short adjustment period.

“Their work was excellent.”

“I recently had a very positive experience with Castle Dental. The staff was very professional and friendly. Castle Dental sent a shuttle to take me to the office.

Dr. Bedzy Navejar and her assistant, Oneida Estrada, were very professional and bilingual. Their work was excellent. I highly recommend it. Thank you very much.”
